Guest guest
: Anita is right , if you refuse to follow the instructions of Dr. Gagner, he and no one else can help you but yourself. If you feel you are so very sick that you require medical attention call 911 NOW. If after you get to the local hospital and are evaluated by the staff, if they cannot help you, they will most likely transport you to Mt. Sinai. At the very least, I am sure that if you give them all your information, they will consult with Dr, G. You are a post-surgical patient. Each patient is different. It may take a further evaluation to determine what your needs are with regard to the nausea and other problems you are experiencing. Walking as much as you can will hasten your recovery. I walked in circles around my house. It was painful and I had to hold on to the wall but I walked. I was not nauseated but the smell of most foods turned me off completely and I gagged at eating them. My taste was wacky. There was very little that I could tolerate. I had a lot of internal swelling and struggled to consume any liquids. Eating and drinking caused me a lot of discomfort. I resorted to Popsicle's and ice chips. I knew I needed the fluids and I did that to get some. I ate/drank tomato soup or chicken noodle without eating the chicken or the noodles. Some patients have less problems, but if you keep moving and drink fluids, you will get better. It took me 6 full weeks to feel better. But I must say that even though it was baby steps as Anita said, each day I had a measure of improvement and you will too. You need to take some action now and jump start your recovery. Guest guest
: I do not mean any disrespect, my comments come from concern...you do not sound like you have the ability to care for yourself. I am afraid that you are experiencing some sort of psychological problem perhaps due to your state of dehydration etc. I urge you to seek help now. Call 911. Stop looking for attention on this list. We can't help you we can only worry and give advise I am worried about you. I live in California or I would go to your house to help you. I cannot and most of us cannot. You must help yourself. I think you are in trouble. Seek help now. Call 911! Wishing you health Sheryle

I am afraid that you are experiencing some sort of psychological problem perhaps due to your state of dehydration etc I think we should email or call Dr Gagnor and ask him to contact her emergency contact...we cant do anything for her here and if something bad happened, we would feel horrible...but at least someone could check on her in person....?? any thoughts? ~~* AJ *~~ BMI 59 Surgery date 7/24/01 going self pay - Dr Baltasar Spain Check out the Bellingham Support for WLS WWW.lookin2bthin.homestead.com

Guest guest
I had email me several times pre-op. and the typo's, and writing style were exactly like they are now, so I can't say I see a difference. Patti
Guest guest
Does anyone actually have 's adress or phone #? If we could zero in on her location, we could perhaps have someone local drop in to assess her physical or mental ability to help herself? Guest guest
Any angels on the east coast possibly get in touch with her support system out there? I live not that far from but I have to tell you I am wondering how much of a true story we are getting? I hate to have anything more serious happen to her but she did IM me in error (thinking I was a "MARC" and the typing was perfect. Mine are full of slurred and misspelled words. She also mentioned having a brother who visited her in the hospital and I know she lives with at least her Mom. Eileen
