Guest guest
, You've been through hell, no doubt, and no matter how much you could have lost, I doubt it would be worth it at this point! But...I have to say...don't withhold food. You need to eat every few hours, and drink caloric liquids at this point. If you don't get in enough calories and nutrients you will feel horrible! Your body needs calories and nutrients. The weight loss will come. I was totally obsessing over weight loss, myself, and I put the scale where I can't get to it easily. If that doesn't work, I'm going to get rid of it. Worry about healing and feeling better. The weight loss will come without you worrying about it! Please take care, Dawna

Guest guest
Hi , I hope you are starting to feel better. I agree with dawna . Your body needs calories to function. Its like a furnace. If you dont put fuel in it it won't burn anything. When I had my first C-Section. I was on a clear liquid diet for three days, (long time ago) and the girl next to me had a normal delivery and was eating up a storm. she had about a six lb baby and lost about 28 lbs after three days. I had an eight and 3/4 lb baby and lost 8 and 3/4 labs aftero three days. I was none to pleased. Three days with almost nothing to eat and I had only lost what the baby weighed. I have learned you have to feed the fire if you wnat it to keep burning. Hang in there. Darlene from Maine Darlene Pre-op BMI 49 waiting ????? whats up with BC/BC?????
