I had my DS March 2000 with Dr. Crookes and have lost 156 pounds. I

did well for being a revision and I am still losing. I just had my

tummy tuck one week ago. I'm afraid I do not have any pictures but I

can tell you I was cut along my bikini line from hip to hip. My belly

button was also moved and fat removed from the mons pubis. I have 2

JP drains that drain bloody fluid. I will have then until next

tuesday. I was suppose to go home overnight but I had problems with

orthostatic hypotension and could not get out of bed. I stayed an

extra night. I was in very good shape when I went for surgery and I

know that helped alot. I weight trained 3 x week for 7 months with a

trainer. He also fixed a couple of incisional hernias and an area of

retained sutures/abscess from my DS.

I look at my tummy now and just cry. It is so flat. Even for being

swollen and the full effect could take a couple of months. It is

wonderful and the surgery really is a walk in the park compared to

the DS. Ihave my breast reduction/Lift scheduled for Aug 14th.

From this surgery I have been cleared to return to work on July 2.

Just under 2 weeks post op. Please let me know if I can answer any

specific questions. My doctor is wonderful.

Cindy, I've had a few replies, and there are some links on these two peoples

profiles, from the AMOS page:

Berger

Bowen

I found them to be very interesting.
