Guest guest Posted July 9, 2001 Report Share Posted July 9, 2001 I met by chance while shopping several months ago. She opened my eyes to this WLS and I have my first apt. with Dr. Gagner on 9/5. I have been reading what is going on in this group and I am being scared off by who now tells me to think twice about the surgery. She sent me the letter from Dr. Gagner and I responded. Please read. I felt my opinions were in lines with other more experienced in this situation. Was I wrong?? Do not get me wrong, you are my patient and I have the duty to take care of you to the best of my ability. But this care has to be done with reasonable boundaries. Please make an appointment on Wednesdays to see me, ask all the questions you need, make a list. You also need to see a therapist.It seems as though all the others in the group feel the same way. Writing to the group for help will not get you better. It seems that everyone has their share of post-op problems but they deal with them. Sincerely, s response to me today....
