SCD and Kidney stones

I think one could live without nuts on the diet. I have made nut flour baked

goods, but don't really eat them much. If she could live without baked goods,

she's be fine. There is plenty of other things to eat.

Did the urologist say " all nuts " or certain specific ones? Did

s/he say why no nuts?

In any case, despite the plethora of nut-based recipes, SCD is not

" the nut diet. " You can do SCD without ever going near a

nut.

My wife is considering SCD to help with her IBS. She also has kidney

I have IBS and there is plenty on SCD I cannot have yet. Nuts are

OK, especially almond butter, but I cannot have dairy, eggs, red

meat, or a lot of veggies. I still consider that I am making

progress and that eventually my diet will probably broaden. When the

right time comes.
