Guest guest
Ditto on the knees! Mostly it's my back. That and weird sensations in my head. Stupid fluid. I think it moves with the moon like the tides! LOL A good nights sleep really helps my back too. My neurologist put me on Cymbalta and it's doing me alot of good. I'll find out Saturday. I signed up for "Sock Knitting Boot Camp" down the street. It's a 4 hour outside "hen party". Does anyone use that phrase besides my parents anymore? grannylunatic@... Guest guest
, I get these weird head sensations, too. It's like something is moving on the back of my head...like a muscle cramp. One night I swore I had laid my head down on a mouse or something...it felt like something moving around under my head, but when I lifted my head there was nothing there. Believe me I don't share this stuff with anyone else! They'd think I was bonkers. I suppose I should tell the doc but I'd just tell him my head felt odd in the back of it. hugs S. wrote: Ditto on the knees! Mostly it's my back. That and weird sensations in my head. Stupid fluid. Guest guest
Rick, It always helps to know that someone else can understand. I know my husband tries but unless that person is actually going through it they never quite get it do they? Thanks for the understand. Guest guest
, I know you have hydrocephalus that causes your " head " issues but I wish I could figure out what is causing mine. I feel sometimes like I have pressure in my head that is going to blow my ears out (kind of like an overinflated tire). My MRI's are normal but one day I think my husband is going to come home and find my brain leaking out of my ears. Have you seen the commercial for the transmission company where the guy is sitting at the conference table leaking transmission fluid from his ears? That is what I feel like is going to happen to me. Then it subsides. Oh well, I am running on today. Forgive me. Terri G. > Ditto on the knees! Mostly it's my back. That and weird sensations in my head. Stupid fluid. Guest guest
Terri, The x-ray they did of my knees 2 wks ago looked like I had a hand full of bb's behind the left and about 1/2 that many behind the right. They tell me the left knee is gone?? I wondered about the little resorption deal. I am going to hold off on having anything done right now I can stand the pain for now. I know that is sarc behind my knee, it's gotta be I've seen those bb's before..............Connie Solberg wrote: , I get these weird head sensations, too. Guest guest
Connie I have a bunch of the bbs in the shin part of my leg. I had one removed from my forearm back in the late 70's because I had a mole that had changed also. They only tested it for cancer. My aunt had skin cancer at the time and that was decades before I had even heard the word "sarcoidosis". Too bad they wouldn't have any records of that now. I don't even know where the surgeon is now. I still have the bbs in the front of my leg. Did they biopsy yours?grannylunatic@... Building a website is a piece of cake. Yahoo! Guest guest
Terri, Do you take any of the neuropathy meds. They do help and it is great or is arthritis causing your problem. I hope you get some relief soon, I'll be praying.....Connie --- mosaicgirl1 mosaicgirl1@...> wrote: > > Hey Guys, > > I just had to post and blow off some steam for the > !@@#$$%%%$%% > ^^&&!!! pain in my legs. > Sometimes it is non-stop > 24 hours a day and then it will go away. Guest guest
They didn't biopsy them, they just look at them and I could tell, they didn't have a clue as to what they were looking at. The surgeon had also never heard of the fact that chronic sarcoid can cause bone resorption. I know one thing if the back of my leg where the bb's are rests against anything it hurts like a cracker.....Connie --- grannylunatic@...> wrote: > Connie > I have a bunch of the bbs in the shin part of my > leg. Guest guest
Connie, I actually think it is a combination problem. I have, what I believe, is neuropathy in my feet, and then spasms in my muscles. I think the thigh muscles are having problems because I have steroid myeopathy (partial paralysis) in them but now that I am backing off the steroids, they are trying to work. I have tried neurontin at one point and it just made me throw up so they haven't tried me on any more. I would like to try Lyrica because of the problems I have with the nerves in my face to see if it would help that. I had shingles on the left side and now I have chronic bells and trigeminal neuralgia (about 81/2 yrs ago). Thanks for your interest and advice. We will all just hang in there together huh?
