I work were we have a mini gym available, so we committed to 1/2 hour every day m-f; right - my first day 10min's on the tread mill - but know it will get better.Luci Yahoo! Guest guest
Sounds like everything is falling into place for you. With that mini gym there it will make it much easier especially with your workout buddy. 10 mins on the treadmill is more than I could do, keep at it! It's nice to have support at work. I do customer service in a call center. They hire a lot of overweight people. When I mentioned to a co-worker that I was thinking about the surgery she said she was too, as soon as her insurance kicked in. She has worked there longer than me and told me about five people there that had the surgery. One has gained back most of her weight but the other four have done great. We had a mini support group meeting the other day and I learned a lot, especially about what not to do afterward. Guest guest
I am going on 20 years at work and people know me from the single skinnys to the bloated pregnancy to the 300 pound morbid obesity. Everyone knows I am waiting and are struggling with me because they see what I am eating and also can't figure out why my 10% isn't gone yet. Everyone is so supportive and for that I am grateful.
