Guest guest
Hi everyone, Is it tradition to have the opportunity to speak with your surgeon at some point on your surgery day BEFORE your surgery? I don't care if I am moments before being anesthetized, I just want a second to speak to Dr Pomp and emphasize my preference to have the full surgery open as opposed to a two part laps if he is thinking my BMI has crept up too high to do it all at once laproscopically. (gained 12 lbs since my consult in when I was told I was already borderline). Just wondering if Mt Sinai patients have always been able to see their doc beforehand or if I have to find another way to get my message through to him... Thanks, Terri Hassiak BMI 60 http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=H980366398 Appealed " Out-of-Network " Ins. Denial - AND WON!!!
