I didn't gain after the surgery either...I left the house on Wed. weighing 255 and today I'm at 247. I'm soo happy. Thank you all for the well wishes, prayers and good thoughts...it obviously worked wonders for me. Also I ended up getting the catheter put in like everyone told me to and no bladder infection! I was sooo incredibly impressed with Kaiser S.S.F. and the care I got after the surgery. Time for another walk! Talk to you soon**Azin!! PS Not sure if Marita has posted but she was doing great too. Guest guest
Azin, Hi...CONGRATULATIONS!!! Welcome to the other side. I had my surgery on 9/28, so I am new at this too! It is just so relieving to finally be on the other side. I also had no complications after surgery. Keep up the great work. Patty Riverside"Azeeeeeeeeeeen! Guest guest
Hello Everybody, well you all heard from Azin we made it to the other side. I have been blessed, so far everything is working great. Had the surgery on Wednesday 10/12 home 10/13. My husband and I just drove to Pacifica so I could have a nice walk on the beach. I feel great, I am a little jealous of Azin and her weight loss already, but I am not stressing about it. I went in at 273 and came home at 280 I am assuming that this is from all the fluids they pumped into me, I am just slow in releasing them. My stomach looks like a battle field, 5 holes with staples and I am pretty black & blue. I am a little sore on my left side, again I'm sure this will all pass in time. I have to remember I did just have major surgery. The support from all of you has been overwhelming, thank you again. By the way has anyone ever spoke to a Candy Benson, she had the surgery the same day and I can't find her on any of my " Angel Lists " . I'd like to drop her a line. Thanks, Marita > > Hi Everyone!! > > Just wanted to send a quick note that I made it via first class to > the " other side " . I am feeling wonderful and no, that isn't the > drugs talking!!
