Hi Dawn,

Dr. Boles has always told me to call on the 4th day if things have not calmed down. He worries with my kids about the dehydration thing that a fever can cause. it can happen slowly if they run a fever for too long and don't drink enough. Personally I have always stuck to the 4 day rule. If it is higher than 101 I always call and let them know on what ever day it happens just so he knows we are struggling and may need to come in. My kids normal is 97 as well. I think that is interesting. I wonder if it is a normal Mito thing to run sub Temp like that. My Kira will run sub temp "fevers" as well if she drops below 96 we call as well. If they have any other symptom I call as well. Fatigue is a good sign it is a Mito crash and sleep is needed for us.

HUGS!
