UGH! *BAM* Wall... OUCH!!!

Ok group! Can ANYONE help me here??? My Dr. would only give me a

referral to Dr. Callery (Sharp Rees Stealy), and Dr. Callery only

does RNY. I TRIED to explain to my doc that these are TWO different

surgeries (with only small part of surgery being similar) ... and

that there were TWO TOTALLY different post op life styles! UGH! What

does he do?? Comes back with referral to Dr. Callery. He said maybe

Dr. Callery can help me get referred to Pacific Surgery with Dr.

Rabkin/Jossart.

Has anyone had this happen???? My doc says that my medical group

won't refer me outside of their facilities. So, I'm just wondering

about this referral thing, can this doc help me get approved to go

see another doc??? My Doc even said that NO ONE does this surgery in

house!

I also am thinking if the above doesn't work, changing medical

groups... would that help?? I have a LOT to choose from!
