beta blockers and grapefruit??

Im curious, I really want grapefruit, but i heard years ago that its

not good to mix beta blockers with them...

I take metoprolol to slow down my heart... does anyone know if

grapefruit really is a nono or if it was an urban ledgend?

No, it is true, grapefruit does interact with some medications. But I think that it is calcium channel blockers not beta blockers.
