Guest guest
Hi ! Great news!!!! Wishing you a most successful surgery and glorious results!!!! a Pre-op I'm finally being Switched !!! Hello everyone My name is and I have been jumping through all the loopswith my medical group and I have finally WON the appeal to theinsurance company , pacific care. The problem was at the medicalgroup level since I have a HMO. Pacific Care was wonderful inoverturning the decision and I am very grateful. I initially had Kaiser when I began researching weight losssurgery and had to switch to Pacific Care since I decided that DS wasdefinately the surgery for me. That was back in July of 2000. Iwaited till January 1st, 2001 , had my primary care physician referme to Dr Anthone in Los Angeles . Consult in February 2001, denial inApril 2001 by the medical group, Appealed the decision and have wonin the end of May 2001. For the last two months I have been doingall my pre op testing at various contracted doctors per my HMO andfinally I recieved a very long awaited date I am having surgery on July 11, 2001 (Wednesday) at UniversityUSC hospital with the wonderful Dr Anthone. Please keep me inyour positive thoughts, prayers and or nude dancing under the moonlitsky's LOL I have been an angel numerous times for members at my localsupport group , and I have been a Registered Nurse in a Critical CareUnit for over 15 years but... I am still very worried , sometimes Ithink the more medical knowledge you have the worse it is :::sigh:::Thanks in advance for your ongoing support!BMI 56DS 7/11/01Dr Anthone----------------------------------------------------------------------
