Guest guest
Hi all, Thank you so much .... again!! I am so grateful to all who responded. Your knowledge and support are tremendous comfort and benefit to me. You all posted more questions that may help if I answer them, so instead of trying to answer each one by one, I copy and pasted. As for my B/S issues my endo said the range was 70-110 but everyone seems to have a different opinion on that one. My sugars will be high before I eat and when I get up in the am. Sometimes my b/s will fall after a meal, really weird. Mostly my b/s is in range though, especially since i came off the glucophage. Im sure the vomiting wasn't helping my b/s. I don't seem to have low b/s though. So here are my answers to all your questions. hope this helps. how long you've been off the Glucophage Over 2 weeks now, the first week I know I still felt the effects but feel so much better now. Illness can cause fluxuation also medicines. Have you been on a lot of pain meds? I haven't been ill (other than the med reaction) and I don't take pain meds has Endo. given adrenal support What kind of adrenal support can be given?? The endo wasn't concerned too much with this lab result but the thyroid, progesterone and insulin levels worried him more. NORMALLY, women will have super heavey periods if they have no progesterone.. I have had a tubal and endimetrial ablation so I no longer have periods... but they were getting so bad the gyn was afraid I was going to need transfusions or more drastic interventions. I take Synthroid for my hypothyroidism and has worked well. My endo was concerned that synthroid could have side effects that could affect my liver and other organs so he opted for the more natural supplement - armor. Be very careful with that stuff it interferes with thyroid meds..I think its the T3 component..it was in research papers I read My metabolic doc knew i was on the thyroid meds when she added the lypoic acid to my cocktail, but I will email her about this question and ask the endo. this week. Have you changed dose or brand of any of the cocktail before you started feeling so poorly? No, the only change at the time was the glucophage, other than that I feel tired and run down all the time, nothing has really changed that. I know they still don't have my thyroid at maximum but they want to increase the meds gradually. Again, Thank you all so much. You and your families are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.
