Guest guest
Hey Dawn! My oldest daughter (not affected) does this! She talks (and grinds her teeth) at least once a week. The sleepwalking is disturbing, as she really seems like she is awake, just talking nonsense, but she's aware of our presence. We have to turn on the lights and splash her with cold water in order to get her to snap out of it. She does this less often than the talking, but at least every 2 months or so. I've never really looked into it- please pass along any info. Holly sleep walking and other disturbances Do any of your children sleep walk or talk in their sleep?Would love to hear any experiences as my 13 yr. old is having difficulties. I have somewhere that sleep disturbance like this can be caused byt the autonomic system. Thanks, Dawn Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions. Guest guest
Dawn, Billy talks in his sleep. Some nights he talks all night, others he doesn't talk at all. It doesn't seem to follow a pattern. He does have nightmares about 2-3 times a week that completely wake him up. These also don't have a pattern. He has been in for sleep studies but since he doesn't sleep for the sleep study they don't give us many answers. I hadn't hear of them being related to the automonic stuff but have heard of it being related to age/stress. They don't call them nightmares but night terrors.
