Guest guest
, It nerve racking the waiting game. When I saw the surgeon the last time, we met twice, I did not get a date. Then a week later I was set up with the case manager who went over every thing, and told me where I'd be, what to bring to the hospital, made sure I had all test done, papers signed and more. She gave me the date which was for 2 weeks later, but I asked for 4 weeks later because I run an in home daycare and wanted to help find places for my daycare children while I was out. I had surgery April 11th, 2005 and came home April 12th. I had lap, and the pain wasn't bad. Every body is different, I've had so many different surgeries, to me this one was pretty easy. Hope all goes good for you, you'll be happy to be on the other side. Donna da6bearz wrote: Good morning everyone,Well I'm getting really excited I'm running the last minutes of the race. I've gone through all the tests and appointments. I'm going to see my surgeon on Friday October 14th. I hate this waiting game it's driving me crazy. On Friday I will find out when my surgery will be. Can anyone tell me how many days or weeks it usually is between finding out the date and the actual date it's self? How long do you have to stay in the hospital? And also any pointers of things to bring to the hospital with you for the surgery? How sore were you? And any menu's you might have for after the surgery? Thanks so much for your help, BlairDonna JordonDSJordon@... Yahoo! Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
