Guest guest
Guys, I has lap/ds surgery with Gagner on Tuesday. I was discharged on Friday and flew home friday. I am still feeling miserable the abdominal pain is more almost more than I can bear. However I was sent home with a limited supply of pain meds so I am trying to make them stretch. When I lie flat or even elevate my head my lungs start wheezing until I hack up bit of flem. I thought this might happen for a few days but I am 5 days post op. I can't drive and not being able to drive is driving me up a wall. I thought that as the days went on I would get stronger. But I am not feeling stronger. Yesterday I finally passed gas and was sure that that would be the turnin point not so. 1.Does anyone know how to sleep to make getting up easier and increase healing? 2.Is it ok If I can only get down about 10 ounces of food and 20 ounces of liquid a day? 3. how long am I going to feel like I lost a battle to a Mack Truck?
