Guest guest
Dawn, Do you think the Ohio BCMH will also cover the Chew Q? Our primary does not cover it, although I really have not tried, and she does not qualify for Medicaid. Grace also takes the chewables really well. We always had problems with the liquid sticking to the inside of Mic Key attachment and we had to use way too much water to irrigate. She loves the taste of the chewables and actually calls them Ke Ke (candy). Our only problem now is getting her to understand there is a difference between candy and medicine. Congrats on your success!
Guest guest
We had started to apply for the Medicaid waiver earlier this year, when BCMH cut us off. We were one of those families that totally got cut. Fortunatly the county health nurse, and I appealed the decision and got the BCMH back. We really don't need the wavier, if we have the BCMH so I stopped pursuingit. I don't think it will really help us, and it is alot of paperwork for nothing. As far as the Co Q goes, I will look into it. I am seeing her BCMH nurse next week, she is really good about getting things done. It would be great, and save us a bit of money every month. We may need to contact your pharmacist so thank you for his name. Thanks again.
Guest guest
> , I heard that they do cover some coq10 but don't know if they will cover the tischon brand. Why doesn't she qualify for medicaid? Have you applied for the medicaid waiver program? There is not an income issue with that one. they base it on her income which obviuosly is 0. You can have your pharmacist call mine-Jeff at walgreens in Stow. He had to work out a special way to order it since their supplier doens't carry it. Let me kwow if you need help with that. It is great once you get approved. They pay for nursing for us and any home changes that we need to do to keep her at home with us-including her wheelchair!
