, thanks for your comments on the gastric band. It is nice to let people

who don't get a chance to do all the research on the different surgeries an

opportunity to hear everyone's comments on different procedures. Your

comment was welcomed...some newbies may think that this procedure is as

effective as the DS. Personally, I feel that you were just alerting people

that the band is not the same procedure, nor possibly as effective as the DS.

I want to apologize for the rude, curt manner in which someone responded to

your post. some people just love being fire starters.
