I do know that medi-Cal has approved the DS for one and the RNY for a few

others.....medicare also pays for it with no problem....

Hi, Dory,

I have med-i-cal and it has finally approved me, It

has taken a long time.They wanted to know that I had

made three atempts at lossing weight in three

differents programs.I lost weight in overeaters

anonymous 130 lbs, gained lost and so on.I did prism

that is a christian weightloss program and took phin

phin.My doctor wrote a letter about the pills and said

there was no change and the two other programs wrote

letters about my attempts and that they all thought

that I could benifit from this surgery. After that was

done I finally after almost 3 yrs. have been approved

and am now getting ready to do my pre-op testing.I not

sure if this is what you wanted to know but I thought

I better write.
