Hi , I tried to have it a few years back, when they found that I was on a immunosuppressant, they wouldn't consider it..There is the new lap band now that is reversible that they said in a few years they may be willing to do..

Just wanted to know if anyone has had gastric bypass surgery or talked

Thank you Marla for thinking of me.. That horrible virus got a hold on me last week, when I had my third surgery.. sorethroat, laryngitis, cough, and sinus congestion.. That was fun, being under all that surgery garb, wide awake couldn't breath, couldnt move, couldn't talk.. geeze.. But I am feeling a little bit better from all that.. The problem is I still can't see any better with my eye.. I can only see objects no farther than about 2-3 ft in front of me..except for movement and/or color..Its been over a month now, and I'm really worried that its not gonna improve even with the last surgery last week.. I don't see any improvement, other than the doctor has decreased my visits to every two weeks instead of every 3 days..I guess Medicare couldn't keep paying that... especially since it's not improving..I'm bummed out about it.. but I still can see with my Left eye, not well but can see..hopefully new glasses will fix that. Thanks for asking about me.
