Guest guest
Do you have an immunoligist available to you? We never met with our geneticist about Wyatt's immune problems. We saw a GI doc first who suspected the immune problems and then went straight to an immunologist who did quite a few tests- immune system and vaccination reactions, etc. Afterwards we informed our geneticist of the problem. So I don't think you need to wait to see Dr. Cohen about it. If your insurance lets you, you can make an appointment with an immunologist. One last note, our ped. didn't think the numbers were a problem. The immunoligist who see's quite a few kids with multiple problems did. I went with the immunologists advice. Not that my ped isn't fabulous, but sometimes they don't see how one problem for a kid like Wyatt can blossom into a bigger problem.
