Guest guest
Grace has periods of time like this. They usually follow some type of virus or stress. We have even seen them for no apparent reason. For her, the usual first sign is her getting very clumsy. She normally walks pretty good, but then will start running into walls and tripping on everything. Dr. Cohen has explained these times as "brown outs," which I believe are just about the same as a mito crash. It was explained to us as exactly how you can get a brown out in your house, same idea. The good news is that most of the time they seem to be very mild, with only few symptoms and a day or two duration. The longest she has ever had one last was about three months, which affected many body systems and really set her back for a while. Best wishes, hope she feels better soon.
