You've freed me to ask the question that has been burning in my brain 4 days pre-op! I want to treat myself to a manicure & pedicure but they'll look at me if I'm crazy if I ask for no polish (because of surgery). Can I have surgery with clear polish on my nail? How's that for earth-shattering concerns? But anything that'll get me through the anxiety (especially since I have'nt heard from BC yet) has got to be tried, right? Marcia >> They usually do not want you to have any nail polish on of any sort. Even the clear could distort if you are starting to have trouble, It probably depends on the anesthesioligist but hey this is a one time thing do you really care about nail polish or the safety of your health. I would not wear any nail polish personally. IT is not important. As soon as you are up to it have it after the surgery you will apppreciate it that much more.
