Guest guest
Just wanted to share something with everyone, I have a neighbor who has MS she is young and had a stroke about 3 weeks ago, I visited with her today and she is doing remarkable considering, I asked what they think caused the stroke and she told me that she had just come off a 5 day IV steroids, she had a “migraine” headache so went to the ER, her BP was up, they treated the “headache” and sent her home that am she had the stroke because of her increased BP. I have to wonder if some of the strokes and things we with NS have might be more related to our meds, especially steroids then it is directly related to NS? I’ve never been told to monitor my BP when I’m on IV steroids, have any of you been told to do that? She wasn’t told to do that either. Kind of scary, I think I will be doing BPs on me the next time I have to do steroids, I had a brust with the surgery but that was just a one dose thing, felt like I could of used more but I made it without. Any thoughts on this? Marla Bramer " Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible "
