Guest guest
, You are such a trooper. And I know you don't want to be-- lady, hang in there, I truly don't know what to say. It is so tough to see you go thru this. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and will stay there! Guest guest
, did you draw the short straw? You have more bad luck. I've only had minor problems with my heart & even that is pretty unnerving. I can't imagine having to deal with all you've experienced. Thank you for keeping us updated. Now, let's try for some good news next time! Like set a new landspeed record for women with pacemakers & defribillators! Somehow I thought that my high tech icd pacemaker would record the events that I have been having. Now I am wired again with the king of hearts event recorder. the leads are stuck on with strong tape which I am allergic it is eating thru me and I HAVE THE sensitive ones and they are eating thru me too. I am still passing out even after the third open heart surgery they went to check my icd and make my heart skip one beat and I passed out. then I was just with one nurse. after I came to she left me and came back with two drs my cardiologist and electrophysologist. I am ok now but very scared as now I must go thru another event to record it so they know what is happening. I assume my heart is giving up now and beats way to slow or not at all sometimes. even though I have a pacemaker. It all stinks... I have an appointment next month to have special lenses put on the whites of my eyes to keep the moisture in I am having some strange dreams because of it. Guest guest
, I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time. I too have a pacemaker/defib that was implanted Jan. 25. Just got home again from the hospital after throwing what they believe was a clot. Doctor said my D-Dimer was high and with my symptoms were very suspicious. I'm finding that my heartrate is many times lower than prior to the surgery. I dislike having the device "interrogated" as it feels weird when they speed my heart up! You're in my prayers.
