Guest guest
One thing to consider.. They made me take off all my finger & toenail polish preop- ask your doc about this, so you don't waste a gorgeous nail ( & toe)polish job.. that just breaks my heart.. I was so hurt when they said even my toes! But hey- its definitely been worth it! Also, if you have long hair, see if someone will braid it into a french-braided "updo"- it stays looking nice in the hospital, & you don't have to mess w/combing your hair postop until YOU feel a bit better. **HUGS** Thanks Liane...I am plannin on the French bread...I figured it would help. I am only allowed in bed a few days...Dr Baltasar likes you up and out of bed during the day so I will be moving but it still would be nice to have the first few days to not worry about about the hair. Maybe I'll do the pedicure with no polish for here and after surgery treat myself at the hotel before coming home....!!!! ~~* AJ *~~ BMI 59 Surgery date 7/24/01 going self pay - Dr Baltasar Spain Check out the Bellingham Support for WLS WWW.lookin2bthin.homestead.com

Guest guest
Ohh- Kewl beans! A reason to get 2 pedicures semi-close together!! Works for moi!!! I loved my updo- it lasted for just a day over 2 weeks before it looked bad enough to take it out.. it had been washed 3-4 times, slept in, I had to walk, too, lol..and even on the day I was discharded, people were still complimenting me on my pretty braids. =) Yay, AJ!! only 13 days to go!! When do you leave? Hugs, Liane > In a message dated 7/9/01 12:33:56 AM Pacific Daylight Time, > LiliFrench@e... writes: > > > > One thing to consider..
