As far as GI problems go I have noticed Grace taking much longer for these to resolve after a brown out. Her entire life has been a rollercoaster as far as this system goes. For her first 9months to year of life she could only handle Neocate formula, that's it. We tried countless times to start different foods, none with success. She is 2 now and although she is pretty good, we need to really watch her. During brown outs, and for a time after, her system really slows down and she rarely eats much.

She had grown out of reflux but since her first "big" brown out it has returned. She has been back on Prevacid for 2 months now, and we have even had to raise the dose already. That is the only thing, so far, that we have seen permanent from a brown out. Hope this is of some help.
