Holy Crap! The other side is AMAZING!

Hi Everyone!!

Just wanted to send a quick note that I made it via first class to

the " other side " . I am feeling wonderful and no, that isn't the

drugs talking!! I cannot believe how easy this has been. Hardly any

pain and everything has gone down happily. I keep water down pretty

well and after discharge yesterday I walked 7 blocks! I didn't gain

after the surgery either...I left the house on Wed. weighing 255 and

today I'm at 247. I'm soo happy.

Thank you all for the well wishes, prayers and good thoughts...it

obviously worked wonders for me. Also I ended up getting the

catheter put in like everyone told me to and no bladder infection! I

was sooo incredibly impressed with Kaiser S.S.F. and the care I got

after the surgery.

Time for another walk!

PS Not sure if Marita has posted but she was doing great too. We

both felt like we needed to be pinched because it felt too easy!
