This

cookbook is really useful because it gives instruction about basic cooking

techniques, how to select and cut chickens, how to roast roasts, etc. –

all kinds of stuff that you don’t really care about pre-SCD unless you’re

into cooking but are very, very useful when you start to branch out and make

more interesting dishes.

A

friend gave me the cookbook years ago and it collected dust on the shelf. Once

I started SCD, I brought it out and it’s become a great reference.

Another good one for technique is the Joy of Cooking.
