Guest guest
A little bit of research leads me to believe that maybe if we all put our names on a petition and made our voices heard (TV, newspapers, radio, government, etc.) we could stand up and be counted...literally. This isn't going away and we're getting sicker or at least hanging on by a string in many cases. The money isn't there (or at least very much) for sarcoid research like other diseases. Lets do something about it. In the last couple of years-- Dr. Sharma and Dr. Baughman have started the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research. This is the www.stopsarcoidosis.org site that I've been telling people about. If you want to donate, or have a voice-- it would be helpful to get involved. The other option-- and we've discussed it previously, is to form a Foundation or some such process. The biggest problem has been to find people to work this angle, and unfortunately, most of us are not in the shape to tackle this. Ideas and suggestions are appreciated, as I, like Becky, want to see all of us living long functional lives.
