I had a anaphylatic reaction in march of 04,from an iv anitbiotic in

the er. a clotted r forearm from a iv. no tx for the shock, they

didn't belive i was having a reaction to the med. since then i have

been in and out of hospital. dx for stroke, but they can't find it

in my mri, mra. now they all think i'm looney. i have r sided foot

points out about 45 degrees and i drag it along or with my brace on

full leg it helps to stay straight and locks my knee. my r arm/hand

are weak and feel like theres a rod inside with fingers curled under

tightly, but can partially use when coerce them and bend them back

manually with other hand or object. my speech is impaired slurred

or hesitant and my wife says i say words that i didn't know i said

when i know i didn't say that. very fatigued every day with the

malaise feeling, i have about 2-3 hours a day of fair energy, but

thats it. my arm rests up across my belly tightly when walking. its

been over 3 years and they still cant figure it out, even went to

mayo in scottsdale, what a waste of time, once neuro got the phsych

report of " conversion disorder " everything was stopped and anyone i

saw was just a " yes " man.nothing i said was pertinent anymore.

instead of looking further, beyond the scope to try to help. I was

finally put on disability in december 06, not what i wanted, but

time and money served the need i guess, this is pending dx of stroke

or conversion disorder, where neither is showing up. yes it does

look like a stroke, but no proof in the brain. after the first

episode of reaction, i recurred in the lab after blood draw and ?

passed out. they said i was hardly breathing, after that my speech

went and everything was much more diffucult, it enhanced the

previous symptoms and problems. I cant believe tha medical field

treats people like this.....needless to say i was a very very

confident and proficient for 15 years as a respiratory therapist in

hospitals and homes. i'm devistated. i have been doing extensive

research on this neurosarcoid and slowly finding things that have

matched up with some previous m.d.. Vasculitis at the time of the

reaction was brought up and i have seen this in the sarcoid research.

please let me know other possiblities, i do have some positive tests

for neurosarcoid so far. thanks
