I have to pick and choose what Doctors I can see, what tests I can

afford to have and before the new Medicare Plan "D", what Meds I

could afford to take. Now I just have to fight with the Insurance for the

plan on what Meds they'll approve.

This is your MD's job. If he prescribes a medication that is not on the FORMULARY - and you've tried the stuff that is on the list without success- then they have to accomodate the meds you need.

The MD can write the letters that say he's tried XYZ and it didn't help, and you need XXX.
