Guest guest
I have to pick and choose what Doctors I can see, what tests I can afford to have and before the new Medicare Plan "D", what Meds I could afford to take. Now I just have to fight with the Insurance for the plan on what Meds they'll approve. This is your MD's job. If he prescribes a medication that is not on the FORMULARY - and you've tried the stuff that is on the list without success- then they have to accomodate the meds you need. The MD can write the letters that say he's tried XYZ and it didn't help, and you need XXX. The other way to work with these issues is with the Partnership for Prescription Assistance. The site address is: www.pparx.org/ What are they having you take the IVIg for? Take care, Tracie NS Co-owner/moderator ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
