Guest guest
I decided to post this again since I didn't get any replies about this and several people mentioned not getting all of their posts so here goes: Does anyone have any experience with their children also having tibial torsion on their clubfoot leg. This is when the top bone on the calf part of the leg is not straight but curves toward the inside. I have been told and through research have found that this alone will cause her foot to intoe. Kelsey's is pretty pronounced as you can see it when she stands up. I am trying to determine what is clubfoot issue (correctable) and tibial torsion. I just wonder if anyone else has experience with this issue. Thanks for any information that you might have. Jenni
Guest guest
Actually, that's why we went with the first surgery. Our doc at that time told us that his tendons were so tight, they were starting to make the bones curve, it was the result of the clubfoot not being corrected. But I haven't really noticed anything since then...maybe when he decides to start walking...LOL! I'm sorry, that's all I got. > I decided to post this again since I didn't get any replies about this > and several people mentioned not getting all of their posts so here goes: > Does anyone have any experience with their children also having tibial > torsion on their clubfoot leg. Guest guest
Thanks. UNfortunately, Kelsey was born with the torsion and it is still there even after treatment. Hopefully with your little one it has resolved. Jenni Wold wrote: >Actually, that's why we went with the first surgery. Guest guest
Don't have much information about it other than what I found on the internet when searching Tibial torsion. Becky has that along with her bilateral clubfoot and she is 3 and we are dealing with relapse issues (don't know if they are related to the tibial torsion or not...) I will be anxious to hear what advice you get. and Becky 3yrs. > > I decided to post this again since I didn't get any replies about this > > and several people mentioned not getting all of their posts so here > goes: > > Does anyone have any experience with their children also having tibial > > torsion on their clubfoot leg.
