Guest guest
I don't know about clubfoot babies, because Kaitlin doesn't walk yet, she's 10 month. However my friend's baby is 13 months and doesn't pull up yet. She just started to crawl in December. I don't think CF makes that much of a difference, unless your baby has recently spent more time in casts than average. There is a poll about this exact subject in the clubfoot polls section of the group homepage. HTH Freeman
Guest guest
I was wondering what the average age is for cf babies to walk? Naomi will be turning a year old next month and she's not walking yet - she's pulling herself up but isn't creeping yet... Lately I've been getting " isn't she walking yet? " comments from people and it's starting to make me wonder if it is the casts/ dbb has anything to do with it or if she's just developing later than others (including her big sis)... Guest guest
Hi It should not make any difference if your baby has c/f or not when they walk They do walk when they are ready. All 3 of my children walked around 1 (only 1 with c/f) but some of my friends non c/f babies have started much later around 14/15 months. I think 1 is actually quite early to be walking!!!! Guest guest
Hi Maureen, I get that " he isn't walking yet? " thing either. My first (non cf) walked at 15 months. Christian will be one in 2 weeks and he just got the bar off from 23/7. He pulls up too but won't let go of the furniture for anything. Don't worry she'll be taking off on you soon enough. Guest guest
My first " normal " (and I use that word very loosely) son walked a few days after his first birthday. My second son, bl cf, was casted for the first year, so he is fifteen months and we are just trying to get him to stand flat on his feet...bottom line, they will do it when they are good and ready! Enjoy the days of no walking right now, it will happen! > I was wondering what the average age is for cf babies to walk?
