Guest guest
How sad. It is even sadder how much pressure is put on doctors to know all the answers...and then to have that happen to their own child. I imagine the " what ifs' " that they have are so difficult. THat is wonderful that the child has adapted so well. I am sure that makes it easier. Totally understand why you don't want to play 20 questions. gangrene is hard to treat without amputation.. Guest guest
You're right. Apparently he got some infection and it can cause symtoms like GanGreen (sp). I don't know all the details as I didn't want to play 20 questions with her but all the sudden it made me feel like I had no worries! mjz28ss@... wrote:I'm not sure if you are meaning Menningitis. Menningitis (Men-in-Jy-tis) is a SEVERE infection that makes it into the menniges of the brain/spinal cord. That is the tissue around the brain/spine. People can die from it, easily. I'v never heard of anyone losing limbs because of it though. Freeman
