Guest guest
Hello everyone, my daughter has been in her mitchell shoes for 3 days now and is doing wonderful. She doesnt complain much the only problem she has had is trying to crawl with them on. But, anyways what I wanted to know was this: What I have done is keep her shoes for longer than 24 hours and when we need to go out like yesterday I give her 2 hour break. Is this ok? Dr.Ponseti told me 1-2 hours out so I thought I would make up the extra hour out and let her take a 2 hour break. Is this wrong to do? Other than that she is doing really well, we were so surprised because we had an awful time with the markell shoes and her casts. She takes good naps FINALLY AGAIN and she sleeps pretty good at night, so far anyways. I hope her 2hour break is ok. If I am wrong please let me know. Thanks, and BL CF 12/16/03 FAB 23/
Guest guest
If Dr. P said 1 - 2 hours I just would not do the 2 hours all the time. Maybe 2 times a week. I would just be concerned to have her get too used to the 2 hour break. Or even do an hour in the am and an hour in the pm. Just my 2 cents! michelle andyandsamanthamom@...> wrote: Hello everyone, my daughter has been in her mitchell shoes for 3 days now and is doing wonderful. Guest guest
Gosh no. That is just fine. The two hour break is per day, so take advantage of it...course sometimes it's easier to just leave them on, but for the most part, use the full two hours. If dr. says 1-2 hours, then that's what you got! Make sure you get her used to different textures under her feet, jason has a hard time being out of his shoes, doesn't like his piggies bare. So we are trying to get him used to be touched and played with without his shoes on. But try not to go over the two hours. Guest guest
Hey that's all great news! She'll figure out how to crawl in a few days I bet. Myself I doubt two hours out would hurt but like I wouldn't advise you save up five days worth in trade for five hours....ha j/k. (That means just kidding, ). I'm glad to hear all is well on the home front! s. Hello everyone, my daughter has been in her mitchell shoes for 3 days now and is doing wonderful.
