Donna and other listers:

My 2 year old does exactly what you mentioned: he gets a couple of trucks

or trains and pushes them in front of his face. He even does this with

stuffed toys sometimes. I've mentioned this to his OT and she doesn't

consider it an issue, but it's been bothering me. He seems fine in most

other respects and we've had him GFCF since he was 19 months old. Does

anyone out there know what this behavior indicates? Is this a sensory

problem of some kind? The OT I'm working with seems to think that it

doesn't mean much unless he turns a toy over and starts spinning the

wheels and getting caught up in that behavior, but I keep feeling

something isn't right. I've been very careful about both my sons' diets,

but I'm wondering if I'm missing anything. I haven't eliminated soy or

corn yet and I haven't had my younger son tested for yeast, but I'm

thinking that maybe that's the next step for him. By the way, is it ever

too early to chelate. We're going to go that route with my older son,

but haven't decided yet about my younger son.

Thanks for all your help!

( & Malachi's mom)

Is it possible that this might indicate vision over/under reactivities? Are

you using cod liver oil or any vit.A supps, yet? I'm far from an expert, but

I've read so much already, that things seem to connect in my head and vision

issues and Vit. A are definitely connected. Probably someone else on this

list knows more about this though.
