That reminds me of what my son said last night. We were coming home from a

B-day party and I was coming off the express way and I didn't slow down

enough so I got pulled over. I had my two sons and one of their friends in

the back seat. Well the cop checked my stuff and gave me a warning and he

was very nice. As we drove away my 5 year old said " Oh phew, I thought the

policeman was going to shoot us " . Not that it was funny at that moment

because I had to explain to him the situation but thinking about it now makes

me giggle.

I have a good one. After my parents much loved dog Lady died, they burried

her in the back yard. To insure that their other dog would not dig her up,

they bought several square stepping stones and placed them over her grave. A

few months later my sister and nieces came to visit. The kids had been out

back and someone had pointed out that Lady was now under those stones. My

very sensitive and loving seven year old niece ran into the house and asked

her mom, " Did Lady get crushed under those stones? "
