Guest guest Posted March 24, 2001 Report Share Posted March 24, 2001 French Toast 1 banana 1/2 C. milk substitute 1 tsp. gf vanilla extract 3/4 tsp. cinnamon gf/cf bread (about 6 slices) Combine all ing. except bread. Coat bread in mixture. Fry in non-stick pan on both sides. Serve with maple syrup, jam, or cf margarine, or honey. Coconut Balls 1 bag gf/cf choc. chips (or carob chips) coconut Combine and drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let sit until hardened. Peppy Burger Soup 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/4 C diced onion 16 oz. can cut-up tomatoes 2 C diced potatoes 8oz. can green beans with liquid 2 tsp. chili pdwr. 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. tamari dash cayenne chicken broth (I use about 3 C. but if you like thinner soup, use more) Brown the ground beef and onion together. Drain. Put in crock pot. Add remaining ingredients. Stir. Cover and cook on high 4 hrs. or low 8hrs. *If you like more flavor, substitute salsa for the tomatoes.
