Has any else seen that Kirkman Labs now has a sugar-free doughnut mix? I

was so excited! My son loved doughnuts and hasn't had one since we went

gfcf 7 months ago. We love their sugar-free cookie mixes but....... the

doughnut mix comes with gfcf rapid rise yeast crystals. Because we are

fighting yeast, we have to avoid yeast too.

Now here is the question, some of you experiment with recipes and I

noticed that in the Noah's bread recipe, you use sparking water and it

causes the bread to rise. Could I omit the yeast, and substitute the 1 cup

lukewarm water with sparkling water instead. I want this to work so bad

but these mixes are expensive and I don';t was to mess it up. ANY HELP out

there would be very much appreciated.

This would only work if there was baking powder in it, like in Noah's bread.

Don't try to alter the recipe, unless it gives instructions on how to omit

the yeast. I'm afraid you will end up with a mess.
