Guest guest
Keri... one word for that potty mouth... soap. works for a lot of things like screaming at the top of your lungs *I hate you!* in public... that's what I got today at the science center when a child who insisted on two $1.50 rock candies or one $1.50 sour patch worm bag and NOT a $1.50 cool rock like a quartz crystal or other cool rock thingie. I then left my cell phone on the counter there and had to physically push my way to the truck because he wanted a second chance (came out of there with nothing he did...) and a furtive scream of hatred... all the while hugging me and wanting hugs because I'm so mean... so the trip to the post office and pharmacy then became a problem with insurance. I left, went home called my phone and they answered " OMSI lost and found " - at least they found it. Back to the museum for the phone (child is perfect by now) and back to the pharmacy where the ins. problem still exists and rx is still not filled... half an hour there and finally back home to start dinner I needed to start 2 hours earlier... they ate TV dinners~! Argh! And one of them got soap. Now THAT won't happen again! Well, it might... who knows. He doesn't really hate me but sometimes I think he thinks he can get me with hurtful things that he and both know he doesn't mean. Bad day here... better tomorrow I'm sure :~} But the soap only takes a couple of licks to do the trick. Think Christmas Story... it's not like he's sitting there with a bar of Lava in his teeth for 10 minutes. As for the shoes, have you pushed his heel down in them at the bent knee and tried to tighten them up? Where are his toes in relation to the front edge or the end of the leather? When you tighten them do the heels come out when you pull up on them? Try to bend it when you pull to see if the heel slips out (bend the angle you pull on the brace over the heel). If it does, dorsiflex the foot and press on the top of the foot and try to cinch it up. I do this with her facing me, sitting on the couch at her feet. The buckles are on the inside on Darb's. Other than that, check the length of the bar. If it's too short it can pull the heels up a little, same with too long. hope you find out what's going on!
