Guest guest
We were talking about possible deficiencies that lead to eating non-food items. My son has recently started licking carpets everywhere! Someone suggested that it's the glue in the carpet, but what deficiency does this indicate? He's currently taking calcium/ magnesium, Vit. C, Co Q10, B-complex, NAC, Animal Parade multi-vit.& mineral supp., Nystatin and bifidopholus. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Guest guest
I am not sure, but what they may have meant is he is trying to get a source of gluten from the glue in the carpet backing. I recently bought real cheese for my husband and hid it in the fridge, I swear he could smell it cause he went straight for the hiding spot. When the usual sources of gluten and casein are removed they search for a fix elsewhere. deficiencies > We were talking about possible deficiencies that lead to eating non-food items.
