Hi ,

We bought a pair of Stide-Rites at the Coralville Mall when we were in

IC right before Christmas - size 2.5 Wide. Devlin was 2 weeks shy of

her 1st B-day. She's outgrown them already...that's why I'm looking

for cheaper shoes! She's got the " short, chubby feet " that are

characteristic of the Atypical CF.

BTW - for those of you shopping for shoes in Iowa City - the

saleswoman at the Stride Rite at Coralville has CF twins (both twins

are affected) who see Dr. Dietz. I forgot her name but she was very

helpful in picking out shoes for Devlin.

shoe...

Are you asking about " normal " shoes size? Or Markells?

Jonah moved into a size 2 Markell at about 12 months. He wore a size 2.5 or 3

in street shoes. He's still in the same Markells at 18 months, size 3.5 street

shoes.

Wow! Already in a 2.5 before being one. is 16 months and still

in a 2 xw. Really tiny feet I guess! I have also found payless to

have some good shoes, especially being wide width and that small.

Aren't small feet fun?? They look so adorable in those shoes!

My son was also wearing the size @ 1 year old. He is 21 months and is

wearing the 3's (which are quite big. In a normal shoe he is still only a 4

which is the first shoe size here in the UK.

Owen was in a size 2 Markell's for his first birthday and a size 4

in 'street shoes'. He'll be two in a couple of weeks and has just

about outgrown his size 4 Markell's (I've ordered a pair of size 6's

which will be very big to start) and is wearing (but outgrowing) a

size 6 in street shoes.

When Jordan was 12 months she wore a size 2 shoe. I can remember

that because I kept thinking is her foot ever gonna start to grow.

She is now 2 1/2 and she wears a 5.

samantha is now 13months and is really in 1 but i buy her size 2

since she is almost out of a 1.

I just switched Zoe to 0 that we got just before we went away for

Xmas in Mid Dec. Her feet fit perfectly in them. Her toes were over

the end of her smaller one's, those were reverse last, I asked the

doctor for straight this time and told him I wanted it because I was

going to put the buckles on the inside, OMG, so much easier with

buckles on the inside. I am going to tell him that reverse last are

a pain and archaic. Anyway, probably way to much info. I think she

will be in the next size up soon.
