Guest guest
, that is too funny. Aidan has some nasal congestion so everyone recommended the saline and sucker. I was warned to be nervouse as he would scream his head off (the pharmicist even told us the same.) So I called in the troops to hold him down if need be. Don't think he didn't laugh his head off everytime we stuck some drops in and stuck the bugger sucker up there. He thought it was the funniest thing!!! :-) My husband and I were sure we weren't doing it right... How sad is it that because our child wasn't screaming his head off we were certain we couldn't be doing it right!!!! I guess one kid just isn't like another. Anyway, your story made me laugh. Anyway, he got one on his temple this past summer, and it was a little swollen when he went to bed. When he woke up it had gone all the way across to his eye, and his eye was swollen shut. Everything almost to the bridge of his nose was HUGELY swollen. He had to go on 4 different medications, including eye drops, which would be awful in a 2 yr old, except on is wacky & would go lay on the floor when it was time for his eye drops--he actually enjoyed it. I'm either raising a future doctor or a psycho. Anyway, it's true infections can quickly spread to the eye, and really scary!
