Hi All,

I'm sorry in advance for any cross-posting that may occur.

I promised Sandy Levine from AFNY that I would post this

flyer to the " yahoogroups " that I am a member of. On some lists,

I am active, on others, I am a lurker. During this conference,

there will be a group of parents who will be speaking to the

attendees about their experiences with Autism, vaccines etc.

I will be one of these parents. Thank you for your indulgence, Lesa

The Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccine

“A SHOT IN THE DARK”

The Autism Foundation of New York is proud to announce our upcoming

conference on Saturday, March 31, 2001 featuring Dr. Wakefield,

Dr. Yazbak, Sawyer and Gallup.

Dr. Wakefield is a Doctor of Gastroenterology, the coordinator of a

collaborative team of researchers based in institutions in England,

Ireland, Sweden, Japan and the United States. Dr. Wakefield’s research

has uncovered what may be a link between the MMR vaccine and sudden

onset autism.

Dr. Yazbak is a Board Certified pediatrician. He is the author

of “Autism 99, A National Emergency” which, based on statistics from the

US Department of Education clearly demonstrated a spectacular and

on-going national increase in autism in the nineties. He has designed

and initiated a study to investigate the relationship between vaccines

and autism. This study is due to be completed in 2001. He has also

published three related studies because of their alarming findings.

Sawyer is the Chief Executive of Visceral, the medical research

foundations that coordinates and seeks research funding for the

investigations of Dr. Wakefield and his collaborations.

Gallop is the founder of the Autism Autoimmunity Project and the

father of a fifteen-year-old son with autism. The Autism Autoimmunity

Project is devoted to funding immune research.
