My son had severe reflux for the first 1 1/2 years of his life. He is 6

now and fine. He was less than 2 months of age and was hospitalized for

it for 7 days. They put him in a papoose on a slant board while in

there. I remember when he was walking (at the age of 10 months) and

every time he bent over for anything he would throw up. I don't know

what made it go away after 1 1/2 years, I didn't start this diet till he

was 5 years old.

My son was diagnosed with reflux in Aug. 99 at age 5.5 during an endoscopy.

We did not know he had it before hand as there were no obvious signs that

could not be attributed to something else (waking during the night, tantrums

etc)
