Guest guest
I have a friend whose daughter has been major sick most of her life......she is 6 now. A lot of pneumonia and very very bad excema. She finally took her to an allergist and they did tests and said that she is very allergic to soy. She called me cause she didn't know what to look for in food and the doctor told her to just look at the labels (very bad doctor). I told her that I'd see if anyone knows of a website that has soy allergy info that would have a list of things to look for in foods and hygiene products. She isn't a questioner....meaning if that's what the doctor told her, she won't question any further. She has been putting new creams and lotions and potions on this poor little girl for her entire life......she has had such bad excema that her face looks like she was burned. I feel so bad for her.....she itches so much and nothing helps her. I was surprised when her mom called and asked for help. If there is anyone out there who knows of a place to look this up, please let me know......I'd hate to let her wait too long and then change her mind. Guest guest
Wow. Sounds like more than just a soy allergy. Our daughter has tons of allergies (ezcema etc) and we finally got fed up with doctors and took her to a NAET specialist. (NAET is an allergy elimination technique performed by some accupuncturists and chiropractors. They use a painless accupressure technique for children -- no needles.) Good results so far for us. See the NAET messages on this mailing list for more input. Good luck Question about soy allergies OT > I have a friend whose daughter has been major sick most of her life......she is 6 now. Guest guest
Have you checked out the site on the bottom of all of our posts. The www.gfcfdiet.com has a little information about soy allergies and what ingredients on labels to look for. You just go to the site map and look for the word soy and click on it. I hope it helps. I feel bad for this child. Cheryl ( Mom to 11yr Aspergers and 6 yr apraxia, autism, and CAPD)
