Guest guest
Oh, I almost forgot, have you heard of Butt Paste? It was on Oprah and supposed to be the best diaper rash cure going. However, everyone uses it for multiple other things chapped lips and skin for one! I can't believe I forgot with a name like that! :-). Hundley jenhundley@...> wrote:My husband's 6yr old gets this. I've never seen that before and didn't have it with my first, course I think it's the hugeness of those chubby cheeks of his that seem to attract moisture and chap him when we go out, but I have no idea how to help it. I tried putting lotion on it and it seemed to irritate his skin further. Any ideas?? I know this is off topic but with the wealth of information here, I thought someone might have some good ideas. Guest guest
Believe it or not, I actually went out and bought that. But I found I liked Bag Balm better. Butt paste didn't clear it up as quickly. Bag balm works pretty fast and the other stuff irritated my 3 year old...yes we're still in diapers...yes, we're working on it...yes, it's expensive and yes...it's getting old!!!! Guest guest
over here it's not anymore expensive than the bag balm, well actually I guess it is as you get a lot less and it doesn't last as long...hmmmmm, yeah, you're right! Guest guest
Don't freak , he'll surprise you one of these days. Have you tried reading any books about potty training - the psychology behind it all, etc? Might give you some suggestions to encourage him along? s. (Yes, I'm a book worm, can you tell?) Guest guest
I feel your pain on the potty stuff. My 3 year old just decided that she was ready and it went like a breeze. I just had to wait until she was ready and make it her idea. Hopefully your little one will make the leap soon. Jenni Wold wrote: >Believe it or not, I actually went out and bought that. Guest guest
I used Butt Paste on my sons worst diaper rash ever detected on Earth! I actually went to the Pediatrician, this was after using Balmex, Desitin, and Aveeno (which at the time was the best!). Back then, a year or so ago, Butt Paste was only available through perscription. Now, it is everywhere! Anyway, it cleared the rash instantly. Now that is all I use. It truly works.
