I am pretty sure Tuna is one of the safe fishes to eat while pregnant. I eat

Tuna Salad for breakfast almost everyday.

Tuna fish question...

I am struggling with protein right now.. and I love tuna.. cause I can put

lots of sweet relish in it (Mt Olive - Splenda). How much Tuna is safe? I

have heard things... I suppose chicken salad would be a better choice..

Does anyone have any good links?

Tuna fish is DEFINITELY not the safest fish to have in large

quantities while pregnant. Due to the heavy metals and other

contaminants in waters where the fish dwell, it is suggested that,

while pregnant, we have no more than 4 ounces per week.

From the pamphlet I got from my OB you are allowed 1 can of tuna per week. Man!

I'm at that point that I feel like I need to eat ALL the time and this talk is

making me crave a tuna fish sandwich, now I need to go eat one. :) LOL!

You can get the special chemical free Tuna at the Whole Foods or Trader Joe

Markets. You just have to read the label. It costs a bit more but is worth it

if you are worried about that stuff.
